Frequent acting assignments in Brown/ Trinity Rep or Trinity Repertory Company productions are a critical component of actor training. Acting students will participate in a variety of fully mounted studio and professional productions. Understudy duties in Trinity Rep productions are also assigned; the combination of understudy and performance work at Trinity Rep enables students to acquire their Equity cards upon graduation.

Directing students will direct at Brown/ Trinity Rep in a variety of theatrical spaces and undertake work on new plays as well as contemporary and classic pieces.  Assistant Directorships will also offer opportunities for professional engagement at Trinity Rep.
