Biography

Brandon G. Green is Boston-based artist and educator from Selma, Al. The blerd child of a village of activists, educators, and veterans, Brandon is drawn to stories of the African Diaspora & Social Transformation, with a dose of Sci-Fi & Surrealism. Select acting credits include Sweat (Huntington), Black Odyssey: Boston (Front Porch), Nat Turner In Jerusalem (Actors' Shakespeare Project) and An Octoroon, (Company One/Arts Emerson). Directing credits include X; or Betty Shabazz vs The Nation (Front Porch), Ferguson's Fines (Brandeis), Non-Player Character (MIT) and co-devising/performing in The Fatherhood Mixtape (New Rep). He's also performed at Lyric Stage, Speakeasy Stage, Odyssey Opera, Boston Pops, Cape Rep, Commonwealth Shakespeare, Central Square, and Fresh Ink. He can be seen in Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody and heard in The Land Whale Murders, The Grey Rooms, 1972, After Impact, and The Ordinary Epic.  As an educator, Brandon has had the privilege to serve at Brown/Trinity Rep, Boston Conservatory @ Berklee, MIT, & Brandeis University; as well as several Boston Public Schools as a teaching artist with Daniel Beaty's I Dream curriculum and The Actors' Shakespeare Project. He holds an MFA in Acting from Brandeis University and is a proud graduate of Alabama State University's Theatre Arts program. AEA.
